New in / Jewellery

I can't begin to explain how much I'd love to spend my dimes on dainty necklaces from the likes of Orelia or Estella Bartlett, and if I had a spare £4,700 in my back pocket of COURSE I'd spend it all on a Cartier Love bracelet. But sadly for the time being, my struggling self is finding it excruciatingly difficult to fork out even 30p for permit parking at uni. I've also been dreadful at buying jewellery in the past, but after some fantastic Pinterest inspiration, I squired eBay in hope of finding something affordable and on point. In total the items came to less than £10. Score!

H&M Shirt

I've been a jersey t-shirt sucker over the past few weeks, and though the likes of Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel look amazing in theirs with a cut-off denim, I naturally find it a lot harder trying to look just that good in a plain tee. In desperate need of amending my jersey-laiden wardrobe, I bought this satin-esque shirt in H&M for a measly £14.99 and I feel a million times better whilst wearing it

Zara's new collection

How amazingly perfect is the new Zara spring summer campaign? I'm constantly astounded at their ability to turn high-street into high end. The loop belts and oversized trousers are dreamily reminiscent of Céline Spring 2014, and I love the minimalistic 90s vibe and can't wait to wear strapless dresses and plain t-shirts allll summer long (regardless of weather).
A few of my favourites include the buckled t-shirt, the palazzo pants, and the strapless white dress.

Zara for me has made the absolutely quixotic the absolutely attainable, and I love them for it

LIEBSTER AWARD

Many thanks to the lovely Grace Cottrell for nominating me for the Liebster Award. I've only recently became aware of and it's rather exciting, and I'm extremely grateful for the nomination!

The rules are relatively simple, I answer the 10 questions provided by Grace, then I create 10 more questions for my nominees to answer. I'm going to bend the rules just a little and also invite anyone with under 50 followers to answer the questions I've provided, just be sure to link your own nominees!

1. Celebrity makeup inspiration?
My personal favourite would have to be Kendall Jenner. I love how simple and perfect her face makeup is!

2. Dream job?
How cliché would it be if I said fashion journalist? Very? Okay

3. Favourite pair of shoes?
My all time favourite pair is definitely my Maison Martin Margiela x H&M invisible wedge court shoe in nude leather. For comfort, definitely my Zara heeled sandals.

4. Favourite film?
I'm such a film buff so this is super hard! Ultimately True Romance written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott. Christian Slater is a dream.

5. All time favourite 'shower karaoke' song?
Such a cringe but I love a good Lana Del Rey sing-a-long

6. What would you become famous for?
Being the world's best sleeper/eater

7. Favorite high end makeup item?
Mac pro-wear lip creme in Good to Go

8. Who is your blogging inspiration?
This would be Yanin Namasonthi, she is such a babe. I also love Olivia at nudeonbraodstreet for her minimalistic approach and amazing aesthetic

9. Favourite subject in school?
English Literature; completely pointless but completely fantastic

10. Hidden talent?
I can play piano to a Grade 8 standard, though in confession my favourite instrument is the drums which I haven't the faintest idea how to play

My nominees are:

H&M buy

On my lunch break yesterday I quickly ran into H&M. I've been after some fine midi rings for so long, yet the only ones I've ever been able to find have been thicker/patterned bands. For £1.99 these are absolutely wonderful, and too good to miss.
Find them in rose gold here

Camel coats

I once thought of Kim Kardashian as the anti-christ of fashion. I question myself regularly on why I immediately sought to buy a camel coat the minute I caught sight of her Max Mara masterpiece, or even why I considered taking inspiration from the lady herself. The answer is that even I can't deny that she is absolutely killing it recently, and I thank her for exciting me into buying this H&M woollen beauty. Being 5ft 2" is also wonderful for making it seem like I'm wearing a longer length coat (thinking Max Mara/The Row), though I could only dream to own the real deal.

Inspiration

I'm absolutely loving Zara's new pieces and their use of pastel blue and pink, and I don't think I'll ever bore of anything minimal and white either. SS14 inspiration overload

Christmas Update

Here are some pieces I got gifted over Christmas. I was so lucky to receive a surprise Macbook Air from my parents, something that I've been after for months! The ring is from a spanish jewellery atelier named No3 which specialise in using leather and silver for bracelets, rings, and necklaces. I also got the Soap and Glory Wish Upon a Jar collagen cream which is a lifesaver, and one of the nicest moisturisers.
